Extended- Costa Rica Adventure - $1,857.00

Come join the Outdoor Recreation Program staff on their first International Trip! Costa Rica will be our destination and this will be a new type of trip for the ORP. Not only will there be some incredible activities such as hiking through the rainforest, camping, rappelling down waterfalls, whitewater rafting and surfing but we will be immersed into the Costa Rican culture as well. During the trip participants will stay with local families and while at their homes they will teach us how to make tortillas, homemade chocolate and sugar from sugar cane. We will have the opportunity to interact with the local residents and learn how they live in this incredible place.
